The Akashi Tsuchiyama Hospital was founded in 1956 by  Seiki Ohta , M.D.,Ph.D.

At that time , the permitted beds were only 124. The first director of the hospital was Yoshio Nakano, M.D.,Ph.D. 

Now ,the permitted beds are 403. An occupational therapy for psychiatric patients , an occupational therapy for geriatric patients , a day care for psychiatric patients are permitted.

As a medical fancily, we have a new helical Cat Scan , a diagnostic X-ray, a diagnostic ultra sound , Etc.
